Special Note About C++ Redist 2005 Error
Apparently Microsoft changed the mirror for downloading C++ Redist 2005 I use in my repacks. Hence the installer will throw an error if you have the “Download and Install” option checked (which is default). So, to avoid this problem, uncheck that option.

To avoid folder creation problems on specific OS versions, for these 3 languages the repack installer creates those folder in English, while the game expects those folders to be in their specific languages.

So, if you install the game in Japanese, Chinese or Korean AND you install mods and/or Store Items, after installation and BEFORE running the game, go to “C:\Users\Your Username\Documents\Electronic Arts” and rename “The Sims 3” folder to one of these names:
